Alisa’s journey in the Early Years sector began in her hometown of Evesham, where she started as an apprentice. Driven by her passion for childhood education, she pursued her studies at the University College Birmingham, graduating with a First Class degree in Childhood Studies.
After completing her education, Alisa gained valuable experience working at various nurseries throughout the West Midlands. Her dedication to the field and her growing expertise led her to a significant milestone in her career.
In late 2021, Alisa and her husband, Kyle, made the bold decision to open their own Early Years setting. After months of careful planning and preparation, they successfully launched their nursery in August 2022, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Alisa’s professional life.
With her strong educational background, diverse work experience, and entrepreneurial spirit, Alisa is well-equipped to provide high-quality care and education to young children in her own setting, while continuing to make a positive impact in the Early Years sector.

Kyle’s career began in the technology industry, where he demonstrated his entrepreneurial skills by creating and building a brand that sold products to customers in the gaming industry. After successfully establishing himself in the tech sector, Kyle decided to explore new opportunities and ventured into the hospitality business.
For four years, Kyle owned and operated a thriving takeaway, showcasing his ability to adapt and excel in a different industry. However, in early 2022, Kyle and his wife, Alisa, made the decision to combine their skills and passion for child development by opening their own nursery.
At Apple Trees, Kyle takes on a crucial behind-the-scenes role, managing the nursery’s operations from the office. His responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, finance, human resources, and payroll. By leveraging his diverse professional background and business acumen, Kyle ensures the smooth running of the nursery, allowing Alisa to focus on providing exceptional care and education to the children in their care.
Together, Kyle and Alisa form a strong partnership, each bringing unique skills and experiences to their shared venture. Their complementary roles and dedication to excellence promise to make Apple Trees a nurturing and successful learning environment for young children.

Imogen joined Apple Trees in January 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience from working at small, independent nurseries across the West Midlands. Her most recent position was at a large chain nursery, but Imogen was drawn to the close-knit community and opportunities offered by a smaller setting like Apple Trees. Alongside Maddy, Imogen will be managing the nursery, striving to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
